Dr. Albert Yeap

My name is Albert Yeap and I am a Diabetes Educator with extensive experience in supporting people with Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes. I am committed to providing personalised care and education to help patients better understand and manage their condition with confidence.

I work closely with patients to develop practical strategies for blood glucose monitoring, insulin management, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes. My approach focuses on helping individuals achieve realistic health goals and prevent complications associated with diabetes.

I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of South Australia and undertook specialist Diabetes Educator training through Mayfield University and Alfred Hospital. I have also completed further training in Respiratory and Sleep Health through the Lung Health Promotion Centre at The Alfred.

In addition to caring for patients with diabetes, I have a strong interest in chronic disease management, respiratory health and sleep health. I regularly present at national and international diabetes conferences and am actively involved in the education and training of medical students and healthcare professionals.
