‘I’ve always been keen on making a difference.’
In 2005, I studied Psychology in my Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). A year later, after a serious car accident, I stopped being vaguely curious about it and started planning my career.
As a patient recovering from significant injuries, I learned first-hand how skilful, caring Psychologists can help us heal.
I support people who are dealing with pain of every kind. Chronic physical pain as a result of illness or injury. Emotional pain stemming from depression, anxiety, or grief and loss.
Some of my clients are struggling with anger and constant conflict. Others are looking for help to navigate life crises like separation or redundancy.
If you’re looking to develop your people skills to help you change careers or further enhance healthy relationships. I can help you do that too.

Psychologists are trained professionals who help individuals understand and manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. They use a variety of techniques to assess and treat mental health conditions, offering support through therapy and counselling. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other mental health concerns, a psychologist can help you develop coping strategies and find effective solutions to improve your well-being.
Assessment and Diagnosis: Psychologists assess and diagnose psychological conditions through interviews, questionnaires, and various psychological tests. These assessments help them understand the underlying causes of mental health concerns and create tailored treatment plans for each individual.
Therapy and Counselling: Psychologists provide individual and group therapy sessions, helping people work through challenges in a safe and confidential space. Therapy can help address a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, as well as improve communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): One of the most commonly used therapeutic approaches, CBT focuses on identifying negative thought patterns and replacing them with healthier, more realistic thoughts. This technique helps individuals break unhealthy cycles of behaviour and develop better coping strategies.
Mental Health Support: A psychologist provides ongoing support for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, offering guidance and strategies for managing their emotions, overcoming obstacles, and improving their mental resilience.
Stress Management: Psychologists can help people manage stress, offering practical techniques to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. By understanding the sources of stress and developing personalized coping mechanisms, individuals can feel more in control of their lives.
Specialised Support: Many psychologists specialise in areas such as child psychology, couples therapy, addiction, trauma recovery, and more. This allows them to offer tailored support to individuals in specific life situations, helping them navigate complex issues with expertise and care.
You might consider seeing a psychologist if you’re experiencing:
Persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiety
Difficulty managing stress, work, or relationship challenges
Coping with trauma, grief, or major life changes
Unexplained emotional or physical symptoms
Struggling with major life decisions or transitions
Psychologists offer a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. They help you identify and understand patterns in your behaviour, develop practical strategies to overcome challenges, and support you in improving your mental and emotional health. Whether you’re seeking help for a specific issue or just need someone to talk to, psychologists are here to help guide you on your journey to better mental health.
